I am an economic consultant working in Washington DC, with a special interest in urban government, education, and tort litigation. Previously, I have taught economics at George Mason University and political science at the University of California - Los Angeles. I am currently on leave from a position as a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. I live in Alexandria, Virginia with my husband, Malcolm, and our son, Gordon.
